baby massage

Massaging babies, touching them lovingly and giving them attention is a wonderful experience for both - mother and child. In classes of up to six babies with there mothers, the babies are massaged under the buidance of the course instructor.

A course consists of four mornings, during which participants learn baby massage step by step, so that by the last lesson, every mother is able to give her baby a full-body massage. Small yoga exercises and singing games round off the programme.  

"The touch is the root, so we shold treat it as such.

...We must speak to their skin and their backs, for they are hungry and thirsty and cry out just as much as their stomachs..

We must feed them with warmth and tenderness because they need that as much as they need milk.

Being touched, caressed and massaged is nourishment for the child, nourishment that is just as important as minerals, vitamins and proteins.

Please bring: blanket, towel, waterproof mat, changing supolies, bottle feeding supplies (for babies who are not breastfed), curiosity and enthusiasm for massage.
